See if it’s for you before you’re hired.
Lean Career Trial — one week inside one of the top 3% Google Partner agencies in the world, right here in Skopje. First-hand exposure to what it takes to make it here.
No CV. No marketing experience needed.
At the end: a job offer, or honest feedback.
Hi, I’m Gabi, CEO of Lean.
We’ve been hiring for this role for 10 years. Over 80 people have had it. 6 are still here.
That’s not because the rest weren’t smart, it’s because this job asks for things a CV can’t show.
So here’s who I’m looking for now: someone who is already in the top 1% of whatever they do today, and hasn’t applied here because they think they don’t have the right degree, the right courses, the right CV.
I don’t care about any of that. I studied something else too, and I had to Google “SEM” in my first week here. 10 years later, I’m the CEO.
What I care about is raw potential and the determination to be in the 1% of this profession.
That’s the whole idea behind the Career Trial. In five days you see what it actually takes to make it in this work, and not just make it, be excellent at it. We get a real look at how you think, and we tell you straight whether we think you belong here.
No long-term commitment either way. Five days.
Here’s what’s on the table.
This role is closer to running a business than having a job.
Most people like that idea more than the reality: nobody manages you, but nobody tells you what to do next either.
If you’re not most people, the upside is real: profit share, the people around you, and the projects you’ll get to work on.
We share the profits.
Last year, we distributed over $300K in partner bonuses across the team. Bonus range: $50,000–$100,000/year per person. Base: €1,500/month net, the same as what I make as CEO.
Partner status comes after ~6 months of proving you can own clients independently.
You’re not an employee. You’re an owner.
No passengers, just people who give a damn.
Everyone in the room is as obsessed as you are. No politics, no gossip, no passengers. Everyone’s focused on the same thing: the projects and the wins. They fire anyone who doesn’t pull their weight, so the bar stays where it is.
The energy of working with people who actually care is underrated until you experience it.
See who they are at lean.partners/lean-team.
6 months here = 6 years anywhere else.
You’ll own multimillion-dollar campaigns end-to-end — not assist on them, not watch from the sidelines.
People don’t leave here because they outgrow it. They stay because nothing else comes close.
You’ll outgrow casual AI use here.
You’ll work at the edge of AI every day — latest models, latest infrastructure, real workflows that matter. You’ll stop being a casual GPT user and become a real AI native.
What the job looks like, if we’re a match
To be clear, this is the job itself, not the trial week.
You’d own 5-6 client accounts across different industries, with budgets from $50K to $2M+ a month. Your job isn’t running campaigns. It’s finding the next lever that grows the business.
You own your client’s paid channel success from A to Z.
- It starts with the business. How it makes money, what a customer is worth, what growth actually costs. Skip this and everything after it is guessing.
- The data tells you where to go next. Not reporting what happened, but finding the opportunity in numbers nobody else read carefully enough.
- The creative is where that decision becomes real. It’s the only part the customer ever sees: what you say, how you say it, and why it works. Most of the performance comes from here.
- The setup gets it live, across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, Bing. The easiest part, and the one everyone else thinks is the job.
- Then you start again, because by the time it’s live the numbers have moved.
AI isn’t the hyped skill here, it’s the day to day. Not prompt engineering, not knowing which model shipped last week. Everyone here works with it as a partner they couldn’t do the job without. What matters is understanding how it actually operates, well enough to set it up as a strategist on your accounts instead of a search bar.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be a marketer. No performance marketing experience required. We can teach the craft. The rest we can’t, so that’s what we’re actually screening for.
Underneath all of it: the determination to be in the top 1% of whatever you take on. That’s the part we definitely can’t teach.
How It Works
Why 5 days? Because it’s the smallest amount of time where this actually means anything, and the largest most people can carve out without rearranging their lives.
One week. 5 working days. A group of 5-10 people. Real client work.
- You’ll attend real client calls
- You’ll get knee-deep in actual projects
- You’ll come to our office, every day
- Full confidentiality — every attendee signs an NDA
- At the end, no obligations either way:
- If we believe this is your calling, we extend a full employment offer
- If not, you get honest feedback on how you think and work, and a clear answer on whether performance marketing is for you
Stage 1 — The Pre-Screen
- Fill out the form below. Tell us a bit about yourself.
- You’ll receive a real client scenario. You have 48 hours to prepare.
- Record yourself. Answer live questions about what you’d do — no scripts, no retakes. The real signal we’re after: how you think under pressure when nobody’s holding your hand. Whether you prepped is the entry filter; how you reason is what we’re judging.
We review within days.
