So, What’s the Catch?
The catch is this isn’t a job for an “employee.” We’re hiring Owners.
When a client’s ROAS drops 30% overnight at 9 AM, there’s no manager to escalate to. No “let me check with my boss.” You are the one who replies, “Got it. I’m on it,” and owns the solution.
You’ll feel the pressure. Clients will question your strategy. Campaigns will break at midnight. You’ll have support as you ramp up, but the goal is full ownership—where you make the call and own the outcome.
What we value: High-stakes problem-solving and extreme ownership—not “time in seat.”

You Don’t Need Marketing Experience (But You Need This)
This isn’t rocket science. Performance marketing is actually pretty simple if you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and care.
What matters:
- Can you look at numbers and spot patterns?
- Can you learn a new platform in a weekend?
- Can you admit you don’t know everything and learn again and again every day?
- Are you someone who doesn’t give up even if it takes 10 tries before it works?
That’s 90% of the job. The other 10% is giving a damn when things break and refusing to let a client fail on your watch.
We don’t care if you’ve never touched Google Ads or Meta before. We care if you’ve been in the trenches somewhere—anywhere—where you were held accountable for an outcome, no one held your hand, and you had to figure it out or fail.
Sales rep who hit quota? Failed startup founder? Analyst who explained complex data? Restaurant shift manager? The skills transfer.
The tactics we can teach you in weeks. The mindset takes years—and you either have it or you don’t.
Note: This is not a “stepping stone” job. If you’re looking to pad your CV and bounce in 12 months, this isn’t for you.
What You’ll Actually Do
You own 3-5 client accounts spending $50K+/month up to a couple million per month across all paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and others).
Your Monday might look like:
- 9 AM: Client’s Meta ROAS dropped 30% overnight. You diagnose it’s iOS attribution + creative fatigue, not audience collapse.
- 11 AM: You’re rewriting ad copy, briefing the designer on new creative concepts, and restructuring campaign architecture.
- 1 PM: Client meeting. They want to scale 10x next month. You walk them through the forecast, share your strategy, and (diplomatically) convince them that 10x is unrealistic—but 3x is very achievable with the right budget allocation and creative refresh.
- 3 PM: You’re presenting a new landing page test strategy to a skeptical client who doesn’t understand why their “perfect” site isn’t converting.
- 5 PM: You’re elbows-deep in Google Sheets, building custom attribution models our automation can’t handle yet.
- 8 PM: (Some nights) You’re troubleshooting a campaign launch that went sideways because the client changed their mind at 6 PM.
You’re not “managing campaigns.” You’re the entire growth function for your clients.
You’re the single point of ownership for the client’s growth and ROAS. This is a hybrid role:
- Relentless Analytics (Finding the “Why”): Live in the data, find the signal in the noise.
- Creative Experimentation (Driving the “What If”): Lead the charge on testing.
- Hands-On Execution: Translate strategy into action across all paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) and the full CRO funnel.
